Pruning Group 3
This group includes the late large flowered hybrids, the viticella group and perennial varieties.
Prune hard in winter to strong buds close to the ground. Many varieties in this group will die down to the ground naturally. Most are very vigorous and shoot strongly in spring. Flowering is generally in summer to autumn.
